In Memory of Dillon and Carter
Some of my proceeds will go to the medical research to determine causes and a cure for Congenital Myopathies. In my case it's the X-Linked form of Myotubular Myopathy. This is usually associated with neonatal onset and severe presentation.
Myotubular Myopathy is a family of rare, inherited diseases manifesting itself as a defect in a cell structure of voluntary muscles. It causes low muscle tone and, in most forms, is usually apparent at birth. Affected children have diminished respiratory capacity and are often partially or totally ventilator dependant.
Donations will go to Children's Hospital Boston. This gift will be in support of research on Congenital Myopathies in the Beggs Laboratory. For more information on this condition. Please visit.
